The UBB Foundation sets up on its website and on its social networks’ pages, starting with the academic year 2020-2021, the Library of the UBB Foundation. This includes the section Popularization of Science (already active) and a new Reading Club, that will offer reading suggestions from members of the UBB community. The suggestions will take the form of book presentations written by members of the UBB community (teachers, students, auxiliary teachers and UBB staff).
This initiative aims to promote the joy of reading. Those interested should send the reading proposals by filling in this form (Word format, written in Romanian or Hungarian, with diacritical signs), accompanied by a photo in jpg format of the cover or link to the book cover, to clubdelectura.ubb@gmail.com.
Sending a reading proposal to the UBB Foundation implies the author’s acceptance of the following aspects: 1. The Foundation may publish (always accompanied by the author’s signature) the text, which becomes the property of the UBB Foundation, 2. The Foundation may edit the text for publication 3. The author does not make a disguised advertisement to an institution outside UBB through the text and respects the good practices of intellectual ethics.
The reading club will only publish presentations of books by authors from outside UBB. For our publications and those of our colleagues / students from UBB, the UBB Foundation invites you to collaborate to the POPULARIZATION OF SCIENCE section with information about your new publications presented in a format that is accessible to the public.
Every year, the UBB Foundation will offer prizes for the most interesting presentations and to the most constant readers of the Club.
